Atomate was established in 2003 to supply much-needed tools and equipment to researchers in the emerging nanotechnology market. Working with the nanotech community to identify the real needs, Atomate developed a range of high quality products that resonate with many researchers. Those who have experienced our products and service agree that Atomate is committed to helping researchers achieve better results.

Since its inception, Atomate has sold tools to customers on six continents and continues to expand the capabilities of its systems to serve the growing needs of researchers.  In 2006, Atomate expanded its operations with its move from Santa Barbara to its current location in Simi Valley.  In January 2008, Atomate launched a new class of tools designed specifically for production environments requiring wafer-scale process capability.
