Atomate Welcomes Virginia Ford as New General Manager

Santa Barbara, CA - May 31, 2006 - Atomate Corporation announced that Virginia (Ginny) Ford is the new General Manager of the Equipment Business Unit. Ginny will also serve as the Vice President of Engineering. Ginny has over 3 decades of experience in technical management at NASA-Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Texas Instruments. In prior positions, she has served as the Deputy Instrument Manager of a $73 Million NASA project, System Manager of a $44 Million NASA project, Principal Investigator on new technology development projects, and Group Supervisor of the Instrument Engineering Group.

Ginny has worked on high profile projects such as the Mars Exploration Rover and Terrestrial Planet Finder Missions. She has authored 12 technical publications, and she has received numerous awards for technical and management achievements. Ginny has earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida and a BS in Physical Sciences from Harvard University.
