Halogen Bulb Rapid Thermal Heating

Atomate has developed a line of infrared (IR) furnaces using quartz halogen bulbs. The furnaces offer faster response (rapid heating and cooling) in comparison to the more common resistive NiCr-element furnaces. Through efficient reflector design and quick-response controls, our rapid thermal systems save space and achieve uniform heat profiles with predictable control.

Infrared furnaces can be used as chamber heaters for quartz tube furnaces for new systems, or as upgrades to existing systems. They are also well suited for other applications, such as solid source heaters and sample dryers. Atomate's standard IR furnaces include single, dual, or three-zone furnaces for 25 mm (~ 1”) tubes.
